About Linnea

Linnea is a chef from Connecticut. She brings a lifelong passion to her work and more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality field.

"When I was five, I spent a lot of time with my Italian grandmother, Noni. My Noni made the most beautiful food. It was almost like a dance watching her cook. Because of her, I fell in love with food." Linnea says.

Later, Linnea went on to design and restore two historic inns, coordinating events and working as the executive chef. She worked in Manhattan with Jean Georges-Vongerichten at the Mercer Kitchen and other accomplished chefs such as Jacque Pepin and Dorie Greenspan. Additionally, she has been published in the New York Times, National Geographic, Yankee Magazine, Gala Magazine, Grace Ormond Wedding Style, the Huffington Post, and Zagat. Friends and clients lovingly named her the Tinkerbell of hospitality.

Years later, after a spontaneous trip to San Miguel de Allende on the recommendation of one of her clients, she felt the magic and realized she had found a new home. Within a month a house found her and she knew she was destined to create more magic.
